Addiction is a non-discriminatory disease, meaning that it affects people of all ages, races, sexual orientations, and of course, gender. And while addiction occurs in both males and females, it impacts them much differently. Additionally, the origins of addiction can be different in men and women, and treatment approaches can be tailored to the needs of each gender. So, while both men and women can grapple with addiction, the details of their addiction can be specific to their gender.
Thankfully, however, there are gender-specific treatment options available for our all male facility. Through our program, men struggling with addiction can receive the attention they need in order to address all of the layers of their addiction, all while in a safe, comfortable environment amongst others of the same gender that can relate and empathize.
